are the picnics open to any foggers or just the local ones ? im thinking that if i ever get my hands on a cheap swb id like to get down there sometime next year !
has anyone camped out in the woods ? or is that not an option ?

Gary, remember where I come from mate... There's every chance you're actually closer, hehe. Seriously though, given there's folks from the midlands, etc, who wanna come along, I can't see an issue with a Norfolk contingent. Ask Greg nicely, maybe bribe him with biscuits

FogMan, It was my first time out with the SE group - well any group in fact - and it was a great day! You've got to come along and say Hi... And the BBQ was yummy, Burgers, sausages, BBQ chicken, bacon, onions, teas - loads - in fact there was even leftovers (Caution - Chicken is very hot when it comes off the BBQ..... isnt it Greg :crying: )

Just touching on a word of caution as we have been driving our motors hard on the play days.
I took my nearside autolocking hub off today and the snap pin/circlip was not doing it's job. It was not seated in the slot and the autolocker just pulled straight off without the struggle of removing the circlip. The circlip in question was a Vauxhall main dealer snap pin and was only fitted new a few months ago.
Might be that I hadn't fitted it properly, but I do remember on the previous picnic day, when I needed a second attempt to get up the slope with the fallen tree roots, there was a crack when a wellied it to get up past the roots (see vid).
