Wotcha guys...

Just to update you all...

Retro pedro and I went up the woods this afternoon/evening for a bit of therapeutic treefelling and track making...

Had a clear up around the site to start, and then set off to far end where the new climbs that we all made at the recent Picnic are...

We started at the top....and cut through a new access track along the top of the hill which joins up with the track to Krushers revenge (the one with the roots at the top, made on the first workday).
We also felled a few trees and tidied up around the area at the top to make turning a lot easier...

Next we cut a new climb up the hill to the new access track, loads of bunny warrens and stumb holes, just to the left of the new ones we did last meet...
We then cut a sideslopey interesting cut through from this new climb, along the top slope of the hill which comes out right on the crest of krushers revenge
We then cut a further climb just to the left again...joining the new track at the top...
Finally we cut through the big fallen tree making an exit from the lhs climb that was built last time, so the really sideslopey bit, where the tree roots to the left bounce you quite hard over, is now optional, as you now can go straight on up, without turning right there to get accross to the other track to get up the rest of the slope...

Hope this makes sense guys...

Many thanks Pedro for your assistance today, and if you guys cant do the warreny, stumpy climb and get stuck on it..
this was one of pedro's ideas, so blame him!!

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!

Thank god for that.
Was a nice run till you got to the roots, then you felt like you were going to be tip over
Mind you, maybe it was too easy coz I didn't get stuck on it

Well done guys - will see you later in the month
