Re: SE picnic in the mud/woods...sunday 6th december 2009Good man,bet there will be spare seats most of the day or just pop round Greg`s & "borrow" the Fronterror
Re: SE picnic in the mud/woods...sunday 6th december 2009Greg - Got rear brakes all back together including new caliper pistons. I just bleed the rear wheels thinking that would do but it didn't. So I need to bleed the front brakes in the morning before I leave. So I will be there, but issue is at what time. If I run late, I'll meet you down at the site. I'll shot a text to let you know how I'm doing.
Co pilot can't make it as he's gone down with the lurgey. Jimbo - I've got your seats onboard. That's when I found out my brakes needed bleeding again.
Re: SE picnic in the mud/woods...sunday 6th december 2009Peter did you bleed the load sensor before the rears
Re: SE picnic in the mud/woods...sunday 6th december 2009Whoops, no I didn't, and I adjusted in up a bit to compensate for the suspension lift. A friend - do you reckon I need to do the whole lot - starting with the compensator, then furthest wheels away from the reservoir?
Re: SE picnic in the mud/woods...sunday 6th december 2009should be only the rears Pete, start with a good bleed at the compensator then the furthest finally the nearest. It will work better if you jam the valve open before starting (flows faster) Just remember to unjamb afterwards
Gregster sorry for the OT bud just trying to get Pete out playing
