Hey all....

I've been invited to Hogsmoor, Bordon (Hampshire), on Sunday 23rd November by the Wessex Hill Runners. They have hired the site which is a tank training site used often by the military and is very very near to Slab Common.

Its open to the public so would be great to see a few of you up there....... check out www.wessex-hillrunners.co.uk and see front page links to Sundays event for info and directions....

Hope to see you there.....

Hi Shaun, unfortunatly I cant make this one as the Fronty is still off the road. I have been to this site befor, it was to watch the Europa Truck Trial back in 2000. Great place so gutted I will miss it. Also the Wessex Hill Runners site looks good and well worth joining, I will check it out.

Have a great day and post some pics on this site for us.

All the best, Luke.

Hey all,

Sorry for late reply, been really busy with work. To be honest it was a good day out in terms of somewhere new but I wont be going again... there's not enough there really, its too big and driving around for 30 mins just to find something worth driving on for 2 mins wasnt worth the hours drive to get there.

I've heard slab common across the road is the better one. Apart from a couple of big lakes, and a handful of smallish climbs it was just like driving on a large sandy beach.....

I'll be up for some laning soon, or going to CORE in Chichester this month if anyones up for it?

Also no pictures either camera up the swanney!!

Let me know what ya upto.........
