Never fear... we can wreck your rangie for you ;)

Don't worry about recovery gear, think we've got enough tow ropes to get you out.. :D

The only really TIGHT lane is Water lane.. we won't be going down it as I value my Frontie too much to wreck it.. as for the rest of the lanes all your likely to get is a little bit of mud and some light scratching to the paintwork at the very most...

I'll PM you my number and we can sort everything out.

If we look at Sunday morning then, say about 0900?

We can meet at umm............. Shell garage in Bordon?? start from there I think this time.. and weave our way back across the county somewhat and see where we end up. :P

I'll plot a route for us.

that's the plan...
we can check everything out as regards the CB in the morning - they're pretty idiot proof, so chances are the lack of action is just cos there's nobody broadcasting....

the recovery stuff'll do you fine bud, what with yours, and what ranga and I carry, there'll be no issues...

see you on the morrow

well im home, washed rangie, had dinner and relaxing with a beer!!!

Well today was definately eventful, Jim hope you got home alright??? and that your little "problem" isnt too terminal????

well wetarted with 3 and ended with 2 i think we all had probelms of some sorts through out the day but it was all good fun,

1st to go i believe was Jims CB rig
Then all at the same time we all had problems
Si got a puncture
Jims engine went
and my rangie timing went awol!!

after quick tow to the mechanics to drop off jims motor we were back on the road exploring the lanes, all in all a great day thanks for leading the way Si

Hope to do it again soon???

Safely home, eventually... 2 1/2 hours for a journey I can do in 45 minutes?? sheesh...

Still fun day out, despite the problems - Ta to Si for leading, and playing chauffeur to me, and to Jake for the tow to the mechanics...

Nice to meet another new member, and hopefully the car'll be fixed shortly, and back on the road for another bout of laning...

Now to follow Jake's example, and relax with a drink - large whisky for me, i think...

sore point that ;)

Engine went *clunk* (*clunketty clunk*)

:D

Now at my mechanics, hopefully they can make something of it.

Jake, glad you had a good day out.

Shame about the lil' misshaps, but such is life.. and it's the first tyre I've lost in a year... so not bad. Just unfortunate.

Good luck fixing up the Rangie, it is a beast, hehehe.

More of a "slap slap" type noise...

Just went while randomly pootling down a road between lanes... Hopefully it just a dodgy sensor, or something... Either way, turckless once more, heh

Also.. 333 posts.. Yay

yea had a great time, cant wait til the next one!!

well Jim's engine i aint no mechanic but it sounded like something terminal (piston Crank, etc) (Sorry jim)in the engine as it certainly wasnt a nice clunking sound (i hope it aint though)

No worries for the tow anytime, as i think si 2.0 sport would have struggled a little bit more than mine.

Yea she is definately a beast that is for sure, and once i have sorted the timing she should run smooth as you like........hopefully!!!!!! well that all i can think it can be.

Gonne be a busy week offf for me as i gotta try and find the problem with the wiring on my frontys ecu as replaced parts but still saying problem arrrgggghhhh so lot of hunting and finding wiring!! then gotta get rangie tuned and timed for next sunday out on slab common with AWDC!

ohhhh well gonna be fun, glad everyone home ok and hopefully jim yours aint too expensive!!

If you have a prob tuning up the Rangie pop out to see my mechanics, they are good out there, Mark & Paul (Paul is Mark's son), both are very good and probably know more than a thing or two about Rangies. :)

Anyways, think I'll go to bed early, feeling a little tired at the moment.
