Mayflower Park right next to the terminal perhaps?? I assume you'll be on the 7am from Cowes, so it no trouble to loiter outside the terminal around arrival time.

I'll PM you my phone number in case of problems, or just a yell on the CB will do, heh...

To all the dorset lot - what say meet up at Rownhams Eastbound for about 8.30 - 8.45 ???

Dont want to speak too soon but looks like i might have a fronty sorted for this weekend. WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Off to look at it in the morning. Its a P reg Sport, with great big shiney chrome bullbars on the front LOL very bling. :)

Wilberforce - did you mention that you may be able to solder me together a cigarette lighter type plug for my cb? dont worry if not i will make my temporary job a bit more permanant.

All systems go tomorrow hopefully.

I have awarded myself the day off (boss thinks im going to a meeting  ) and have the afternoon to organise the camping gear - i have a tent, sleeping bags, roll mats, need to get a water carrier and maybe a cooker - do i need a cooker or will there be enough to go around.....? Also need to get a tow rope - eeek i hope i remember everything.

Sam,

If you can bring along a cooker as well it's likely to be useful.. :)
The more cookers the merrier.. saves 20 people having to wait and cook one at a time.

Sam... I can indeedy sort you out with a cigarette lighter affair for your CB... I'll bring the inverter and soldering iron along, plus some crimp connectros, and we'll get it sorted...

I've got a half dozen vacuum flasks, which i'll fill tomorrow morning with hot water, so a round or two of tea / coffee will be achievable... If anyone has an old mains kettle or a travel kettle that pulls less than 1kW power, we can have unlimited hot water :D

Sorry to see that Sam.

How much did you pay for the SWB?

Did the mechanic say what might be wrong with the engine?

Would anyone believe me when I say that I have spent the last 5 hours PRINTING stuff!!!

DAMN. It's annoying.

And of course it's costing me a fortune in colour ink :(

Oh well. Should all go well (as long as I can wake up in the morning!! :)

See you all then!

Drift, you've gotta come to the next one mate!

Wish you were down here.

We shall have to wait and see if it all goes off according to plan, then it might be worth a drink!
Firstly I've got to be able to WAKE UP in the morning..
Can anyone give me a wake up call around 0730 hours?

I've now got 3 sets of maps (one for each group)
I've got three sets of laning guidelines and laning information packs (one for each group again)
I've got so many copies of the disclaimer forms etc that it's not funny..

And loads of other stuff..

And some stickers if people wish to purchase them! (FOG stickers of course)

Looking forward to seeing you all in the morning...
If your having a hard time finding us then please ring me (I do have handsfree so it's no problem).
And if your going to be late, please ring as well!!!!!!

See ya in the mornin'

Well, just to let everyone know, I finally finished printing stuff at 0200 hours!

I am awake again as you can see.

Thank you to everyone who's messaged me from services across the nation to say "wake up" :D

I'll see you all in Basingstoke soon.......

Tad windy and a tad cold!

You got home quick mate... I had to stop and see the land owner to sort him out and sat chatting about Greyhounds and little birds.. was very pleasant and they are lovely people. Offered to give him a hand to clean up some of the tree bits if he needs it.. I reckon a few volunteers for a morning of hard labour would be easy to find as they could use the site for the afternoon!! :D He loved the idea.

Anyway.. got to go get the video and camera from the Fronty so I can spend the next 6 - 8 hours doing stuff with it!~
