Wifey said she will come with me - so would have had my name on the list - HOWEVER, attempted to do some work on Bertie today and it's now on axle stands missing a front hub - if the rain gods are kind to me tomorrow, I'm hoping I will get it back together - if not then I'll have to see how in pans out before I can confirmed for definate.

Well, I shall be keeping my fingers crossed mate, hope the weather comes through. Incidentally, I might just take you up on the seats mate - need to get up to Gregs and give Lara a little TLC, but losing the original ones is on my "to do" list. Along with putting the suspension lift on, and swapping the front hubs to manuals.

Looking like a good one for next weekend then, wahay. Hopefully no major happenings between now and then to stuff matters. I still have space in Holly if people wish - assuming peej will have co-pilot duties as his wrist is still offline. Obviously I'd prefer people to bring their own cars, to see just what can be done with an otherwise standard Fronty.

Hi Jim - I'll hold them in storage until your ready - if Greg doesn't mind, perhaps I can bring them over next time there's a meet at the S.E. site or if you need them sooner, let me know and we can rendezvous at some place. I won't have room to bring them Saturday because my brother as ask me to be a late substitute for baby sitting his dog this weekend, so I'll have to bring Benold with me.
Out on the motor at 7a.m. this morning, before the heavens opened up. If I don't do the shocks, then I've vertually got one side back together. Couldn't carry on after the rain stopped because we had first born and her family up for dinner, so reckon I'm going to do the other side by torchlight. If that doesn't work, then due to politics at work, I'm going to reluctantly take a day’s hols on a sunny day to complete the work.
See we've got a convey coming your way - been lazy and haven't read through the post for timings yet but I guess the S.E posse will be forming a wagon train.

Further updates - the meeting point

Given the number of bods coming from afar, I've decided to change things a bit to make it easier. So saying the new point shall be...

The Rapids, Southampton Rd, Romsey, HANTS, SO51 8AF 10am for 1030am departure.

Fairly idiot-proof to find, given that it's on the main road into / out of Romsey. Easy to get from either J3 of the M27, then the posted route into Romsey, and the Rapids will come up on the left as you approach town, or from M3 J10, round Winchester and then follow the posted route into Romsey once again.

If all those who are coming could drop me a PM with phone number so I have details, and I'll send mine in return so everyone has a contact number for me.
