My 2003 lwb dti olympusSaw this for sale locally for £300 with a years mot, listed as spares due to eml light on and 4wd flashing It had been up sale for a few weeks so I offered him £200 and he accepted Within 5 mins I had it jacked up and plugged into opcom It was giving me egr codes and engine over boost Ended up being the 1 way valve on the hose that comes off the vac pump that was faulty (I only found this out after changing the egr valve and boost sensor lol) The 4wd error was the actuator on the transfer box was goosed and wasn't moving the rod back and forth when the button was pressed I have a 2.2 petrol I am breaking so robbed the actuator off that and the 4wd now works as it should It has 5 general grabber AT2 tyres which have done less than 1000 miles (are these always so pooh in the rain) It's an Olympus model so has half leather heated seats etc Bargain for £200 id say Current plans are clean up the underneath which dosnt look too bad tbh, I have 5l of tetroseal and wax oil for cavities Currently on the lookout for some sidesteps and a nudge bar Thanks for reading
Re: My 2003 lwb dti olympusYou did well there! Looks clean too!
My 2.8 shorty - now sold, and comments here My old dti - now sold "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW --- What a Ride!" This vehicle runs on 100% recycled dinosaurs
