Newby in France

Postby frontster on Fri Jul 17, 2015 4:02 pm

Hello to you all,
I've just bought a Frontera it's a one owner from new 2.2dti year 2000 with 105,000 on the clock. Not only is it the first Vauxhall I've owned but also the first 4x4. I didn't pay a great deal for it as the bloke was moving away and wanted rid pdq, plus there are also a few bits and pieces to do to bring it up to scratch. From what I understand he spent winters in Spain leaving the Frontera in France for four months at a time. Which would explain the various problems. I will post as and when I tackle each job. Stand by for some stupid questions coming your way soon!!

Cheers for now, Ian

Hi and welcome, loads of good advice on here!
It was once said that the Devil would never dare to cross the River Tamar into Cornwall for fear of ending up as a filling in a Cornish Pasty.

Thanks all for the welcome, hope to get started on job 1 this weekend, the heater matrix. There seems to be a lot of posts on the matrix, is it a weak point on the Frontera? If so what can be done about it as I don't fancy doing this job too often.
