Hi all, Mathew from Oldham looking at getting back into frontera ownership.

I am looking for either a 3.2 v6 lwb pref with lpg or a 2.8 lwb

My previous fronteras have been
1995 2.8 sport 3dr in red, loved it but sold due to growing family
1993 2.3 lwb in silver that was lifted with shogun wheels/tyres 3 TV's etc again sold due to arrival of 4th child
1999 3.2 lwb bought as a stop gap so stayed standard

is there many members in the northwest area that know of any fronteras for sale, all help and advice is greatly appreciated

thanks

matt

hi and thanks for the welcome chaps, am I thinking the right way wanting a v6 running lpg or would I be better of with a 2.2 dti I only do around 6000 miles pa as this will be replacing my second car.

my requirements/needs are a lwb that's a relaxing drive with the option to do some green laning and maybe get into some heavy stuff at a later date

Hi and :welcome:
I'd get the dti if you are thinking of using it on lanes or pay and play sites.

never drove a dti, just remember how smooth and torquey the v6 was oh and the sound :D

the horror stories regarding fuel pumps kind of made me shy away from the dti as well and brought back memories of a 2.0 dti Vectra I had with pump issues from day one of ownership

there doesn't seem to be many for sale locally at the min, a few 2.2 petrol and dti but no v6
