Off to look at a Frontera A this weekend.

Hi all,

Just thought I'd drop in and say hi prior to heading to see a 2.0 sport this weekend. I had a 2.2 frontera B a few years back for a couple of years and loved it so hoping this one is a decent one and worth a visit.

Cheers,

Stuart. :D

Good luck then Stuart.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

Comments on 'O-no' the truck may be left here

Owning a 2.8 is a hobby in it's self...

Thanks :)

Hopefully it's in good condition and as described. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the 2.0l engine is the same as what would have been fitted to the cavaliers back in the day and the one I had was pretty bulletproof!

Well just back from picking her up after a 4hour round trip.
Chuffed to bits and hasn't missed a beat on the way home. Seems pretty tidy given its age (N reg). Need to get the service bits and pieces together but I'm sure there's a sticky on that once I find my way around :)

Don't suppose there's any members around the Scottish Borders here is there?

Yeah she's been bought and home now :)
Drives fantastically well given her age!
Ordered a Haynes manual as want to do coolant, oil and filter, gearbox oils etc so she's all sorted for winter.

I believe they are B series wheels. They're filthy at the moment after the 2 hour drive home in the rain the other night but hoping to give her a quick clean tomorrow :)
