Hello there

Hi guys,
Just to introduce myself, I am new to the group and will be picking up my frontera tonight. After spilling 25litres of bitumen over the inside of my trusty disco I need a daily drive to replace it as I have no intention of fixing it through the cold months.
I have liked fronteras since they were built and other than coming close to buying a 2.0 sport some 12 years ago I have never gotten around the buying one,
Anyway I now will be the owner of a dark green 2.8tdi Lwb 1996 with 92k on the clock.

Always fancied the 2.8 as believe it to have the least electrics and is the easiest to work on. I also love the agricultural 4x4 sound and feel (hence my joint love for the green oval, sorry :). )

It will be my daily commute only 10 miles, tow my ifor trailer, my rather large caravan and also house my dogs and mountain bike on my days off.
I look forward to being involved in a good forum.

Ps I am in chesterfield derbyshire area

Hi mate welcome to the forum. You are getting the best of the Frontera models. They are beginning to get a bit rare so you have dropped lucky. The east midlands rep is only in Matlock and works in Derby he's a bit on the nutty side but we love him!!!!! When the good weather starts again or if we get decent snow he will probably sort out some outings.
