Re: Newbie from KentDo you know of any mechanics or garages that know there way around fronteras ? Need someone as my head gaskit is going, also gave the fuel line issue so If I don't get that sorted my fuel pump will be next. Also need the cam belt done too in canterbury so anywhere in kent is good ?
Re: Newbie from Kent
What model Frontera have you got? Is it's a 2 litre Sport relatively straight forward, 2.2 a bit more complicated due to twin cam
Re: Newbie from Kentagree, if its either of the two vauxhall engines any half decent experienced garage should be able to help you, fitted to a million cavaliers, vectras, omegas etc etc
Re: Newbie from Kent
Hi it's the 2.2 diesel. I am looking for someone who knows there round one of these. It has the fuel problem and I was hopping to get the fuel lines changed or at least sorted out. There has been some sort of non return valve fitted but I fear that this will be stressing the fuel pump when starting from cold. Thanks Ben
Re: Newbie from Kent
Am I right that this 2.2 diesel is the same that is fitted to the vectra?
Re: Newbie from Kentwell vectra is front drive, but yeah variants in astra, vec C, signum, omega, frontera. hopefully not so exotic to be scary for a competent independent garage
