Introduction

Hi All. I found you today because I'm off to look at a 1997 2.5 diesel Frontera tomorrow and I was wondering whether there is anything specific to look out for?

Currently our cars are a 2002 Rover 75 diesel estate which is used as a workhorse and a 1989 Mazda MX5 runabout but both of these are on British plates and getting them registered here in Portugal is cripplingly (and criminally) expensive. Portugal only has 3 standards for roads. Motorways, good National roads and dirt tracks so we've decided to look for something 4X4ish.

Looking forwards to your replies.

Hi Phil and welcome to the forum as bobby says they are great little cars as I have had one, I'm sure you won't be disappointed ,the places to check for trust would be under the rear wheel arch just where the door would be ,inside the front behind the grill across the crossmember on the front but I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a more detailed places to look
