Newbie saying be gentle with me

Postby Madpierre on Tue Jun 24, 2014 11:20 am

Hi everyone, just a quick note to say hello. I had my first fronty around 20 years ago (LWB diesel), don't really remember much about it except it did quite well coming off the motorway slip road at 70 mph straight into a hairpin bend!.... I however didn't.... Needed a change of underwear that day  Anyway 20 years on and I decided to get another, this time a sport. Found a nice 2ltr at the right price, picked it up with a ton of spare parts and off we go!! The next couple of weeks were spent planning changes and buying parts to upgrade/modify to suite my mid life crisis. You will find me most of the time in the 'HOW TO' sections asking ridiculous questions and thinking "DID HE REALY JUST ASK THAT?? So please be gentle with me. I will post pics eventually, but not until I've finished it... Unless I come up with my version of a mod that no one else has thought of (Highly unlikely)
Regards
Pete

Yes that's the one, my first 4x4 and felt so wiered being so high up, never REALY got used to it hence the brown trousers, seeing where you're from you probably know the hairpin I mean... M6 southbound Lancaster/Morcambe junction to A683. I'm pretty positive I was on 2 wheels
