Hello from NorthantsHello,
I joined a little while ago and I have been looking through from time to time but not actually posted. This is my first Frontera, it is a short wheel base 2.2i Petrol, I ended up with it just by chance a couple of months ago, my old car was never going to pass the mot and a friend of mine said I could buy it off of him- and pay as and when, it was £700 with 64000 miles on the clock, plus he is going to put 12 months mot on it next month for me. so kind of lucky, did I get a fair deal? oh, it had four new tyres on it too but only road I was after a 4x4 to tow a livestock trailer, but had been looking for a Fourtrak, however, after the last month or so, this has kind of grown on me. I have a few problems with it which I shall ask about in the right threads. Just though I would pop over and say hello! Mel
Re: Hello from NorthantsHi! You're in the right place.
The 2.2's have their niggles but if you look after them they're not too bad. Though I am a little biased. Depending on the age, I don't think you did too badly especially if if had new tyres and an easy repayment plan! Fronty B, 2002 3.2 V6

Re: Hello from Northants
It is a 2002 52 plate and yes it does have a few niggles, feels a bit like a boat for some reason lol! but it has grown on me, and I may as well keep it now, it is quite nippy I suppose but very thirsty.
Re: Hello from Northantsgood evening and welcome ,,,,where in northants are you
Re: Hello from NorthantsHello Mel and welcome to the forum. I think you have done ok with your purchase. As Fronteras are no longer made and getting old they will have their niggles!
