Hello but starting on a bad note! :(

Postby wingz123 on Sat Apr 12, 2014 8:36 pm

Evening all,

I currently own a 2.0 SWB Frontera on an N plate....94/95 I believe....1st Generation either way.

Currently got a few issues with her which I'll post about in the relevant section(s) but thought I'd say hello! I am in Westbury, Wiltshire and you know what that means........Salisbury Plains are on my doorstep!....and that means tank tracks! :)

So hoping to learn more about the truck and pick up some tips on some cheap mods re off-roading as that will be her sole purpose!

Thanks,

James

Hi James and welcome to the forum. I have had 2 swb's and they to me are great vehicles offroad. Due to illness i have had to calm down so now have a 2.2 DTI lwb which i still love. I hope you get as much enjoyment as i did.

Welcome to the forum James, you mentioned SPTA, I've had a few fun moments on that in the past!
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.
