Hello

Hello everyone.

Well, after years of living in suburbia we moved to a house last year which is in the country... but also pretty much in the middle of a farm. My 'sports car' doesn't work well here as it's a bit low and stiff, so we spend all of the time in my wife's 4x4 which is great, but I wouldn't mind my own!

So I've decided I need a fairly cheap 4x4... but something 'proper', not a soft roader, and ideally a bit chunky. And I always wanted a Frontera when I was younger but ended up buying sports cars instead, so I thought it was about time I bought one. And having looked at a few on here I've decided that I still love the look of the Frontera Sport.

I've started scanning Autotrader and eBay for something (and placed a wanted ad here too), and I'm not in a hurry so I can wait for the right car, but it would be nice to have one in winter! I didn't realise that they had stopped making them so long ago, so I'm looking for a car about 10-12 years old ideally, and in good condition, so it might take a while to find too.

I'll keep you posted and post some pictures when I get one... and no doubt I will be back on here for advice to put right the faults when I get one!

Cheers
Gary

Thanks all. I live just south of Warrington, and would be happy to chip in once I've got my hands on one. And if anyone can help with looking over a car, pointing me in the direction of a reputable seller, or outline the common faults I should look for then I'd also be very grateful.

Thanks
Gary
