Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!

Hello bud and welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your truck as much as we do ours. You will get hooked if you start greenlaning and then going to our meets, everyone does. So have fun and enjoy our great family site thats FOG.
Its starts with a 1" lift then you go further and further. Big wheels means bigger lift. 2" lift on the 2.3 is about the easiest you can do. Set of extended shackles for the rear leaf springs will set you back about £50 and a day to fit and adjust the front torsion bars. All the information is here on the forum and more to read on the FOG wiki:

thanks for the kind words
shackles i think they are already fitted have had a look at rear leafs and the leaf does not bolt to chass but to 2 bars about 4 inch long and they bolt to chass
is this a set of shackles
They are the stock shackles ... all leaf sprung vehicles have them ... as you said bolt on the front shackles on the back. Extended shackle replace the current ones meaning the truck rides higher at the back ... there are two bolts (one eitherside) under the truck inline where the doors meet. There is a long metal bar that goes from this bolt to the front suspension. Thats the torsion bar. The bolt I mentioned can be turned (with great difficulty) to raise the front.
well all i can add to whats been said is welcome to the group great place to make friends get advice and hang around

Frontera owners stickers here forums/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=47071"
you mean the shackles are at the very rear at the back side of the rear arches
so let me get this right
i need to install longer shackles on back of leafs found some 2 inch ones on ebay
then crank up the front my turning nut on some bar at front and this will give me a lift of about 1 inch
just one thing will it make the front end harder
The ride will surprise you it makes it more responsive. you can go 2" at the front and you will need to cut your bump stops by a centimeter.
These are extended rear shackles :-
Dead easy to fit with the right tools.
I know this is an old post but anyone know where I can pick up a set of 2 inch extended shackles for. 94 LWB 2.4 as I'm struggling as every link I find in forums and google all go to 404 error.
I'm thinking next time I buy a Frontera I'm going with a B
