new 2.3 diesel owner Liverpool

Postby scousersteve on Thu Dec 21, 2006 2:03 am

Just bought a J reg 2.3 on ebay for £920 after having a bidding rush of blood to the head, been driving it for a week nd cant wait for a bit of snow to show off in, my first frontera or 4x4, I was scared I might be buying a money pit but the body os solid and the engien although its done 177k miles and is a bit noisey at low revs seems to be running ok had to drive it from reading to liverpool and it didnt miss a beat. the spare tyre doesnt droop either. I welcome any advice help or feedback

Hi
Welcome to the Frontera Owners Group :welcome:
all the diesels are quite noisey at first start (especially when it's cold)
and at low revs
£920 is a good price for a 2.3 alltho i paid £950 for my 1995 2.8tdi :D

advice .....don't use 4wd on tarmac!!!!!!!!!
look here for further tips
and here

hope this helps
