Hi Everyone, I've been lurking around the edge of this group for a while now picking up useful snippets. I had been looking for a 2.8 in good nick with sensible milage, but so has everyone it seems.........

Yesterday I bit the bullet and brought a P Reg 2.5 with 80k on the clock with full history.

I work full time as a Radio Network Mgr, but for the last 10 years have been a BORDA (British Off Road Driving Ass) Instructor, full time for the first 7 years & part time for the last 3.

I have owned and driven many makes of 4x4, so why a Fronty? Just fancy somthing different and I used to be part of the All Terrain Services Team that did the Vauxhall Driver Training, and became very impressed with the old beasts.... I am also hopping to spend a couple of weeks in the Pyrenees Mountains later this summer and would like to cruise at motorway speeds in comfort !

Look forward to talking to you later.

Regards Muddydog (Graham)

Hi again and thanks for the warm welcome, I am based in SE London / Kent Boarders, on the side of Shooters Hill. Have a 1000+ questions on who how why where for bits and mods, but will have to wait for the new year.

So far my thoughts are, small lift 1-2in

Raised air intake (safari SS100HF fits I belive?).

Set of steel wheels with BFG AT or Possible Khumo MT as their not 2 aggressive, largest poss without cutting bodywork.

Extra lighting

Personally I am not a great winch lover, too much weight in the wrong place is the norm. I prefere good solid bumpers with recovery points and a turfor or similar.

But as always, everyone has their own veiw on whats their ideal, and wouldnt it be boring if they were all the same..........
