Hi Cavmad keep your eyes open there should be a fair bit going on in the North West in the new year
i,ve read over previous mails ,has anyone decided on a meet? what about rivington barn(as suggested earlier). not far from the M61 jct8 motorway at chorley .Could meet up at Botany bay which is right next to the motorway and drive up in convoy. And have a nice cup of tea.
Am from Rochdale. I live about 2miles from Cowm quarry if that. I know some good moorland similar to Rooley Moor that brings you out at Cowm. Loads of tracks etc - just you and the cows.
Anybody fancies it give us a shout!

Oh there is a Welsh weekend on the 9 march in general events
Are we doing Strata Florida on that trip Ste?
Or are you keeping the routes close to you chest?
I think Strata Florida might be a bit to far, we could keep it as an option, but it is a good hike.
I was thinking Happy Valley if we do it would be about as far south as we would go, most likerly on the Sunday.
