that lake is rather deceiving isn't it

He didn't get wet there it was in a bomb hole later on :P

Although I came through the lake and got two wheel wells full. The bleedin gaiter underneath the gearlevers that seals the transmission tunnel had popped out....

There was a fairly hefty stream running down the road on the drive upto the quarry from the reservoir. But, I think it's been fairly dry up there as the lake wasn't as deep or as wide as usual, there was still plenty of mud about.

What do you think?????????

Anyway did some damage. I've managed to cook one of my rear tyres. Got to work yesterday morning after coming down the motorway and the had loads of vibration and bobbing movement. Parked up and noticed steam/smoke issueing from my osr tyre. the inner edge for about a 1/4 of the tyre now stands about 2cm taller than the rest of the tyre. Will post a photo when I get a pic, Unfortunately managed to drown me digicam when I got all the water in from the lake   Now it won't even turn on....I think I did all the damage when I was doing a steep ascent and didn't make it on the 1st 2 attempts..Lots of spinning and smoke
