New 4x4 show

Hi All

I don't know if anybody else would be interested but Iv'e just found this on another forum I visit on a regular basis, the guy is trying hard to get this up and running.
I reckon any event that promotes 4x4's must be a good thing.

I will be putting the date in my diary as a weekend event and staying over.
I noticed they are looking to arrange a club area to raise awareness of 4x4 clubs and charities they promote and was thinking a Frontera owners section may raise a few eyebrows as an alternative to the green oval brigade.

Anybody else fancy it ? it a pretty central venue in for England.

Shame there's no off road site at the venue but hopefully there should be loads of other stuff to do !! and it's not that expensive if booked in advance

What do you reckon then people ?
Convoy there and a FOG area in the club section !!!

Show the Green Oval guy's there not the only off road community with a big following :D :D

Looks a nice spot and reasonably central to a lot of people.
I really think there should be more 4x4 shows happening in the UK. Seems a real shame that while the green oval is (let's be really honest here) over-subscribed, there is very little happening for owners of other marque's.

That was our thinking for the Suffolk 4x4 Show but unfortunately that's currently dead in the water as you may have heard.

What it needs in my opinion, is for the 'other 4x4' owners clubs to get together and present a portfolio to one of the established mags/venues with a view to recreating the 'National 4x4 Show'.

Or I could be wearing my rose-coloured specs again.

i hope it catches on. i was a paid member of the austin a30 a35 owners club and they regularly organise regional group meetings and an annual worldwide meet and people do drive their a30's and a35's from france, germany, denmark and many other places.

No it isn't working and neither is the organisers other website, I think his server must be down.
I will email him and find out if there is a problem
