sounds like a good plan, how about printing off some pictures of the meet in A4 and making a binder up for people to flick through?

Most of the content is on the forum so probably best of with flyers and such.

Can do a work demo if bits need doing mate

You guys are talking my language. I have the ideal donor car for some work to be done on. I would gladly let you loose on the motor to fit a new tank guard. One of your better ideas Fudge.

Guys, it's sounding like you have some pucker ideas and a great stand coming together.
Not long to go now! I'm really looking forward to it.
I think all the clubs will get a turn in the arena to show off their motors during the day and don't forget to put your name down for the Seesaw Balance and Twist-off Challenge if you want to have a go.

Just for info, when we are doing a show we have picture boards that hang from the marquee frame on the sides we aren't using, plus tables where we put our promo' flyers, membership forms and flip over books full of pics and press cuttings. We sometimes have a dvd running as well but it's difficult to see theh picture on a bright day in a white marquee!!

Oh yes and everyone gets involved which is best of all.

Will pack the tools then :D

I am sure there are other things people can do as well to their trucks ... never know we might spark interest and be able to pass on some of our knowledge to others as well, showing we ae more than a bunch of drivers.

Just had another thoght ... not being funny having the Trooper there can show some of the heritage behind the Frontera. A lot of people don't realise they are a spin off an Isuzu design and with mine we can show them.

Bring the welder Fudge as one of the bolts has sheared off so if we can't drill it out and push comes to shove we'll just weld the bugger on.
Need to make up a couple of straps as well which Neal said he might be able to acquire some steel for.

I am working Friday but will endeavor to make it for the evening. Still decieding wether to stay overnight or bimble back home ... are caravans allowed?

Do we have a definative idea of whats happening ... I seem to have lost the plot of what is involved and what we are doing, and whats going on

So what do we need and I will see what I can do.
I can bring a healthy collection of tools, including a compressor and some plate metal for making bits and bobs out of (like tank straps for Micks tank guard replacement though we will need elastic trickery power)
Some random parts (which aren't for sale :D just to have something to look at) like a 2.8 Cylinder head.
If I have some time I might be able to get hold of a laminator and make up some credit card sized flyers to have on the stand. I find these are popular as people put them in their wallet and don't just bin them.

P.S. Mick I will bring some spare nuts. If necessary once the tank guard and tank is off we can weld nuts on the remians of the studs and the heat will hopefully crack them to then unscrew them that way. I do suggest you get the old WD40 out and squirt them each day. Worked with the steering box :D
