I would say I know the area but neither me or my dad have worked the hike for a long time so our knowledge is likely to be a bit rusty. And besides my dad is only allowed to come along if he is a good boy between now and then :lol:

I fancy this, but atm my Frontera is completely standard with road tyres. What would I need to do to it? Just some decent mud tyres?

None of the lanes are particularly challenging. Our main obstacle will be snow. Road tires will do but all terrains are preferable.
