For greenlane events; All events should adhere to the GLASS Code of Conduct, and please note that Rights Of Way often change and if a TRO (traffic regulation order) has been put in place by the local council you should not drive the lane. If you do not agree to the above you should refrain from taking part in the event.

dates wed 4th august-sunday 8th august 2010

scrapper rally is a non competitive touring assembly just for fun and to raise money for a good cause helpforheroes

the event will last for 5 days and 4 nights and will cover a maximum distance of 1000 miles (200 miles per day max)

entrants will need to bring with them camping equipment and personal items for the period of the event

the event will work on the basis of nobody is left behind for those with little or minimal mechanical skills there will be help and support available and vehicle recovery available to the next stopping point in order to either repair or in terminal cases source a replacement vehicle

if you are with us at the start you will be with us at the end

SCRAPPER RALLY IS A REGISTERED CHARITY EVENT AND YOUR DONATIONS ARE MADE DIRECTLY TO THE CHARITY


rules/conditions of entry

1-people may enter the event as an individual or as a group per car (helping to spread th cost)

2-any car/vehicle is permitted vehicles must be road legal (mot/insurance and road tax) and must be of a roadworthy condition

3-vehicles must be purchased for a maximum amount of £200 (road tax may be purchased seperately and retained by the entrant on completion of the event)

4-vehicles will be sold/scrapped by yourselves at the end of the event and the proceeds donated to the charity (people wishing to keep the vehicle must place a minimum donation of £100 in order to compete in the event)

5- vehicles are to be decorated in order to promote the cause use of individual club logos is also permitted (vehicles must be decorated in a safe and legal way)

6-scrapper rally is not a race and all entrants must conduct themselves and there driving in a legal and respectful way at all times
