Organised by CSMA (Civil Service Motoring Association) 4x4 Group, the Broxhead Bimble will; take place at Broxhead Common (Military Training Ground), just off A325, North of Bordon, Hampshire.

Up to 2005 the CSMA - its 500,000 members making it the UK's largest active motoring club - had a 4x4 group; however the 4x4 involvement waned. Last month saw the revival of 4x4 interest within the CSMA, so much so they are holding their first event (non-competitive driving day - but with 'challenges' as they seek to cater from novices to experts) on 15th March on military land at Bordon in Hampshire - and have plans for at least a couple of other events during the year.

9.30am - 4.30pm. £30 per vehicle including one driver, £5 for every additional driver. Numbers limited - first come first served. Recovery, refreshment van and first aid support. Open to all current/former Civil Servants (armed forces, emergency services, civilian) or have a friend/relative who is/was - the definition is very broad thus almost anyone is eligible! Ring for eligibility. Allan: 07785 903 000 Richard: 07714 452242 www.csmaclub.co.uk
