The pictures posted so far are stunning; mine will be up sometime this evening.
It’s in progress, just converting to jpegs before I upload (a lot shot in RAW) When I got back I realised that at some point during the weekend I had uped the iso to 1600 and forgotten to knock it back down, as it happens they don’t have too much noise. http://www.crag-uk.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yeah, I've never understood the ISO setting on the D70. The noise at 1600 isn't what I'd expect. Still makes low light shooting a heck of a lot easier! Bet you upped it at some point after the top of the Wayfairer (cos thats where I upped mine.)

all this talking about upping got me thinking : where did you and paul get to for the 1/2 hour you went missing with cheekychick(kylie) ? out of retirement and out of my head
In the interests of chivalry, I shall defend that half hour by saying we spent 15 mins waiting for our two groups to separate (GLASS code I think) and then another 15 watching your lot from a distance wondering what was taking you so long to make a simple left hand turn... Course Drift has already shown us A friend's interesting driving technique and we have the evidence that you were the one getting a 'jump' from cheeky...
