Is one being organized and if so when, where etc ??????

Would be a good idea to get the ball rolling early so more members have time to play for it

ahh right.....sounds about right that does....just remember in another thread you are asking for money for this site, yet you aren't willing/able to discuss in open forum the details about the annual meet which I would have thought would be the best place to make money for the site ...tshirts/stickers etc being sold to members.

the reason i am not able to discuss the details of an annual meet is simple ......................

we don't have any details decided yet

Ok the big secret is that we have a section that organisers ( mods)meet to disscuss options.
Of late its been a bit quiet due to various site issues and for some people personal issues.
We fully intend to get something organised but we cant say what as its NOT sorted yet no decision even on a location or short list has been made so what would be the point in making it public if nothing is there to be made public, yes ideas have been considered and as soon as a plan or two is together we will publisise them.

The site is a technical site we ask for money to keep the site going on a day to day basis to help keep the cars we love on the road and help our community save money.
Yes an AGM would/could generate money but thats not what we look at when organising it.

Very true drift and I've replied.

So as I've bought this "back" into the light lets here the ideas you "staff" members have come up with and you can have feedback off the members of the site. Then hopefully a destination/date can be sorted out much more quickly and money can be raised to keep the forum running

Thank you, the answer is in your PM

As soon as definite options are available they will be posted.

No use us saying one place to have the meet and its unsuitable or booked.

Location is a major factor to.

Have patiance you will be informed, I personally think it will be towards the latter half of the summer, but watch this space.

No nifty my "attempt at pretending" (as you've so very rudely put)....
is nothing short of the precise details that we as FOG staff have at the moment

When and only when we have all the details confirmed ...then we will tell you and the other members whats what .....

I hope that this is in plain enough english for you to to understand

I read and write very good English thankyou.....as for the details without throwing some destinations/dates etc out to the members early enough then they might have problems getting time of work or clashing with other groups off-road events.

And reading your last post about having all the details confirmed before you tell us means you are cutting the members out of the loop as such.

If you want me to be rude Carl then I can be...you only have to ask so far I have been polite but I can alter that.
