so are we any further with this ? are we looking at the south lakes or north lakes ? if anywhere round the north lakes is good i'm not a million miles away and would be a good base if required . there are a cpl of campsites around and could probably sort something out deal wise with it been early in the season ,oh yeah and a really good pub !
for whoever is planning routes ,my postcode is CA4 9PW if you can find any suitable lanes within easy distance from there .

Well we have interest bud and if i was capable of sorting it i would be happy to but i dont have any of the computer/mapping stuff to find lanes or sort routes , im hoping Steved will be on and able to sort summat as Colley is abit busy with stuff at the min, if he cant then i suppose all we can do is resort to BEGGING for someone to help

Sorry for the slow response, I have beenlooking into lanes a little for this, I will sort a provisional route out as soon as possible, Ill get back when I have sorted the basics out.

Your right it has ,and Im a little embarassed to say I havent seen nearly enough of it . I suppose its a case of it been right on my doorstep and you dont really appreciate what you see every day . Im lucky enough to live somewhere that people only get the chance to holiday in , or work all there lives to retire to , and i take it for granted .

sounds like a plan matey, just make sure you sort it for a dry weekend this time as im fed up of getting pi55 wet through everytime we go laning!!

Just to save someone a headache in the March issue of Land Rover Owner International there are maps for 12 lanes in the lakes with grid ref,s .Ive done these lanes just watch out for the walkers some of them get very abusive, whatever you do dont retaliate they take photos and videos .
