This is a notice that was recently posted at the start of The Gap Road, it may well be worth contacting the address at the bottom for clarification as there seems to be a lot of fresh confusion about the roads legal status.

I thought it had been determined that "the Gap Road" is no longer legal for motorised vehicle use.

There is a post on the GLASS forum from March thus:

Powys RoW (Mark Stafford-Tolley) wrote:Yes the TRO has been recinded so as it is a restricted byway MPV rights have been extinguished.

That notice is interesting though - revocation of prohibition - I've posted it on GLASS to find out more (Hope you don't mind).

To me, that notice says is the it is currently TRO'd and sometime after 15th September there will be an enquiry into removing the TRO. Subject to the findings of the enquiry, at some point in the future the TRO may be lifted.

As Drift rightly points out, best check with the local council as it could still be TRO'd.

Oh, and heres the vid of the last time I drove it:

No probs L.

People are getting conflicting reports and reading that notice in different ways, it really needs clarifying.
