Just want to thank those who turned up for the strata weekend and postfinder for organising it and making it another adrenalin fuelled 2 days jam Packed with lanes and river crossings some old ones and quit a few new ones with the grand finally being strata in full flow after it chucked it down, it was awesome.

You missed a good one mate, strata had me beat this time to deep and fast for me to risk it with my daughter in with me, but just to see it was scary, the bridges on the way in were under water so we knew then it was to much for me but we carried on up to have a look. Ben and mitch carried on and completed it with Mitch having water flowing over the roof of his green oval at one point  but it's tooled up to the max and made it through. so did Ben.

Only 2 frontys turned and we both decided it was to much mine is standard and the volume of water coming through that first crossing by the memorial was emence if I had more hight I would have tried it but with my daughter in and the memorial next to us I reversed back and turned around, took the sensible option.

Got some of Ben and Mitch going through the first crossing maybe Ben has more from further up, I have been trying to post them but can't figure out how to do it using my phone it's not as easy as putting them on Facebook for some reason but I will keep trying.

What a weekend, Great Lanes, Great food, Great Pub with even greater beer 6.8% Unstable Instable  A Fooking Brilliant Campsite even with outdoor TV and Sky 8)
But what made it was the GREAT COMPANY
Respect to Chris (Twiggy) and Chelsea (Whateva) for taking the p1ss taking so well and doing the gates, hope ya both come next time.
Here's a couple of pics courtesy of Ben of Andy just starting to cross the biggest ford we've done to date over the River Wye, and a couple of the Bomb hole just to give you some idea of the amount of water coming down.
Bring on the next one

It was an absolute corker of a weekend, with loads of new lanes that I didnt know about, even drove over the firing range at Sennybridge with the red flags flying  lots of gunfire and armed squadies yomping about in camo make up (didn't work too well when they were walking up the side of the lane though).
Before anyone goes into Snowdon mode, I did phone the Range office for permission first though  they were very helpful and told us exactly where we could and could NOT go
