Easter Sunday Green Laning in Derbyshire

Hi Guys

Rob (Horses45) & I went up toward Buxton & Sheffield last Sunday to checked out some lanes for a little Green Laning Trip on Easter Sunday. I've also been given some more lanes since, so should be a great day out with a possible BBQ at Rob's & Audra's in Matlock afterwards.

If anybody is interested joining us, please put your name down on the list, so that we can plan ahead.

well it's defo not gonna be a bbq as the garden has just been over ran by lions as the grass is that high so Audra can supply a bacon sanni and a cuppa before we set off

was just an idea but it's not a problem. We can always stop for a nice Pub Meal on the way. Either way, I'm sure it's going to be a good one.

Come on guys, get the family in the car and lets have some Easter Laning - who knows, we might even find some Easter Eggs

Would be nice to seeing you again. Exact details will be confirmed closer to the date i.e. meeting point but as Rob kindly suggested Matlock might be a good idea as Audra always makes a great cuppa & a tasty bacon butty

Not a problem jim it is easter weekend and with avalanch i didnt think we would get many but with ilja not going to avalanch as he is away i thought might as well get out but enjoy the weekend and will try and catch up soon Rob

I would have loved to go but the £ has got me plus replacing rear discs this weekend

sounds good to me my work had me booked in for monday then said someone else is doing an early shift instead of me oh how dissapointed i am.so now i have 5 days off to sort truck and caravan

Well, here's the strange thing - although, we covered lots of lanes, we didn't actually take any pictures

We've decided to leave this for the next day out, probably toward the end of May, when people have recovered from Avalanche

Either way, it's been good and has given us some clues as to how easy or tricky the lanes are - so watch that spaces, next day out is coming soon

well john got some good lanes sorted starting towards sheffield then headding back towards matlock but will try and put the map rid up so people can see where we went!!
