Here? http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 38,,0,9.45 If you come off the A14 at J37 and turn left, then thats the 1st left, only a about a hundred meters down the road. The road its self is called "Windmill Hill". If you just pull up on that mud/grass patch and wait for me, or I'll be waiting for you there :P. Say meet there about 10am? google says its only about 24mins away, so we wont be rushed for time if either of us is running late. Also I'll email you the MM route tomorrow night probs around midnite, but maybe earlier depending on how things go.

If you dont mind, could you get me 2 hot chocolate's when you stop off for your caffeine fix :P I'll pay you back of course!

Also I now have a passenger coming with me, so Neal you better have enough cakes for all the mouths in attendance! :P lol They look very nice! just wish I could grab one now! :(

Ok so we all made it, No one got stuck, all of us got on 3 wheels, and I at least got some air lol, by I, I mean me, as in there was air between my butt and the seat lol, and my mate hurt his danglies on one of the bottom outs lol.

We were all at the meeting point by about 10:40am, had a natter and had a snoop at the map on the laptops and set off soon after 11. Half a mile later (just as me and my mate were talking about who was going to brake down 1st, to which I was saying the trooper would last the longest because its...well its a trooper and its a 2.8 TD) I saw RatCav with his hazards on. lol His clutch slave had given up the ghost, so fogman towed him back to Premier Inn car park for further investigation.

The RAC arrived and he saurced the part and took RatCav to collect the it, twice as he forgot his wollet the 1st time lol . The RAC man then went about fitting the cylinder and at about 1:30pm we set off for the second time lol.

I managed to do the entire day in 2wd with tyres inflated to about 38PSI, so I can safely say that its a prity able truck. :D

We had the odd set back because lanes were shut or would be dangerous to pull out of ect. but everyone enjoyed them selfs and the weather couldnt have been better! We even found some mud to cover our trucks in lol.

Here are my pics, vids to follow once ive edited them:

All in all a great day out ... even considering the mishap with the Clutch Slave Cylinder ... mind it was 21 years old and cannot really complain. Thumbs up to the RAC guy. Worked it out it was 1 hour and 40 mins from initial phone call till back on the road again. Cannot argue at that service. He did say he would try his best to get me rolling again as he was a green laner (albeit a motocross one) as well.

Big big big thank you to you guys for hanging around as well. I would of totally understood if you lot headed off as I wouldn't want me to ruin what was a brilliant days driving. All I can say is (quote from Fogman) "We ain't leaving a Fogger behind!!!" I think we have just started a new branch of "FOG Marines" lol.

Hipo ... thanks for organising it and working with Rob to plot the route (looking at the map you just posted we ceratinly covered some distance)

Thanks to Chloe (the wife) for providing some exceedingly good cakes ... and Rob for the picnic blanket ... and Fogman for the tea and coffee making facilities.

Highlights .... those massive divots where we all got some air .... the water splashes so we could act like big kids .... and especially the final night run in the dark through that really tight, twisty turny, lumpy bumpy railway embankment lane.

Will post the few pics I got this afternoon when I have edited out reg plates etc.

Chloe says:

I am glad you all enjoyed the cakes!

Thank you for MickH and Fogman for lettting her ride shotgun.

I thought your wheel would fall off through the divots.

The water splashes were my favourite bit.

My bum hurts after bouncing around all day long
