Postby landibambi on Sun Dec 12, 2010 12:19 am

i had a day of from work the other day and i decided it was time to take the new truck out for a bit of snowy greenlaning but wat i hadnt relised is just how icy it actually was on the tracks, as we did have about 3ft of snow in this area as well the big snow drifts and icy conditions did not bode well for a good day

some pics to see how the day went
so we set of in the snow and ice

Image

the puppy loves it

Image

so we start gettin more and more icy and snowy

Image

That's why I don't go on my own mate. Getting stuck with no backup is not fun

Take a shovel next time, that might help :)
you could then dig yourself out and it will keep you warm.

Could you resize your pics to 640x480 please

I got out of this pickle with a set of waffle boards wedged sideways behind the tyre, enabling me to gain traction :D

I pity the little hound sitting in the back, if only dogs knew who they were putting their trust in  they would probably refuse to get in a car driven by a human again
