Impromptu Llangollen area green laning

Postby BoxCleva on Sun Oct 31, 2010 2:45 am

Hi folks,
Rob's (V6POWER) friend wants to test drive his Rangey classic on some lanes so I've agreed to go along and probably lead  It's not a massive expedition and is really only to give him a taster of laning and give his truck a shakedown.

Lanes will be the usual suspects, Carwash/Wayfarer/Conquering hero/Whitestones/Splashy lane.

Looking to do it this Saturday November 6th.

All of the above is depending on confirmation from Roberto and his Rangey mate (Joe).

Anyone who fancies it is more than welcome. All the lanes(with maybe the exception of CH) are fine for unmodded trucks

Excuse my ignorance Daz , but don't you live in Scotland ? Must be 1000's of lanes around there, surely ? :?

EDIT: and yes , I am pretty lucky. Missus wants to go to the carboot sale tomorow , I said yeah no probs as long as we can go via the forest  She gets to look at cr4p at the boot sale and I get to go into 4WD on the way there and back

here are not really any green lanes in Scotland - the law here is quite different and does not allow for "rights of way" as in England.
You will have to approach clubs or individuals who know of understanding land owners for a bit of offroad fun.
