Brilliant day Andy, one of the best days out I've had doing anything.

Firstly a few thanks. Andy for starting the ball rolling, excellent idea mate , many thanks. Phil (Sir Doris) for a cracking route and the never ending gate opening :P , Ste (Drift) for the leading for the latter part of the day and Rob (V6power) for the lend of his hand held CB (bl00dy handy to know what gear/range to be in). And everyone else just for being there, cracking bunch of lads and lasses. And finally my daughter for getting her designer wellies dirty closing all those gates. I can't believe she got so into it all. I lost count of the amount of times she told me ' Duh Dad, it should be 4WD low 2nd gear here' :rotfl: :rotfl: Bl00dy smartarse

Really happy that the only casualties seemed to be my sidelight bulb, heatshield , paintwork and Huggy's fan. I did breakdown myself on the way home when the engine just died :| ..... Damn thing wouldn't restart , so coated anything that had an electrical connector with what seemed to be gallons of WD40 and it fired into life! Result.

If there is anything else in the in the pipeline that isn't too far away please put my name down!

Here's my pics, not the best as I was at the back for a lot of it so I was tending to take pics after the action had finished :? I'm pretty sure Rob has plenty of video footage that I cant wait to see though.

Message from Drift (via SMS)

"Fantastic day still no internet lol yes knocked out tracking I think but was fun some tight lanes at the end bloody good though :-)

As ever, these beginners laning trips are always a winner. Glad you have enjoyed yourselves, especially the young un's.
