The Gap Road - last day ever 4x4 convoy

You may have read on my other Gap Road post that we will almost certainly loose the Gap Road for ever after it's TRO comes into effect this Sunday the 15th October.

Some guys on the Difflock forum are concidering a 4x4 convoy over the Gap Road next Sunday, not as a protest, but more of a "sending off".

I'm tempted to join them, very tempted.

Just came accross this video clip, of possibly the last group of 4x4's to legally drive the Gap Road.

They were travelling from north to south, the video is taken at the steps at the gap.
