PAY AND PLAY IN CORNWALL?

Postby oldruff4x4 on Mon Mar 15, 2010 9:37 pm

Hi All,
My fronty is still a bit too shiney for my liking and before i resort to spray on mud i was hoping someone may know where i could take the old girl in Cornwall? Perhaps Pay and play or any green lanes good for 4x4's?
Maybe even some private land with concent for a FOGGING!

Many thanks in advance..

Danny :P

About the only place you can drive it off-road is Balhu (near Truro)

Jim (woodwizzard) and I went there a couple of times with the Toyota Surfs when they had their annual meets there. I can guarantee it wont be shiney afterwards and there may well be a few scratches and dents.
There are some lanes down West (Lands End/St Ives area) but I've not driven them.

Look in viewtopic.php?f=30&t=16840&start=40#p225003 for our last outing there :)

Its £10 per day per truck, its only open weekends (not every weekend) and you can drive wherever you wish... at your own risk, as its totally unregulated...and you need to be aware of mortorcycles zooming around. I dont advise you go alone, because you may well need rescuing at some point...I know we did

And welcome

If I remember rightly, total off road did a road book route down that way a couple of months ago....they took their patrol on it...will have a look later and see if I can find the issue it was in, unless someone else knows....
Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon!

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!

baldhu is my local playing puddle, i ride enduro bikes too so spend a lot of time down there just bought a frontera as a winter basher and im going down there to test its offroad capabilities, it is a good little place to play as said no rules or anything just beat your way through it, it is pretty awesome, as soon as my fronty is on the road ill be there every weekend :D

there is plenty of lanes around and plodice valley is amazing but shhh cos your not really supposed to be there lol
