I think to be fair to the other members a bit further South of the region, A meeting further down the M6/M5 my be more appropiate. All all the others seem to be further north.

Any members down that area have any ideas.

There is a cracking pub called the Anchor at Oakerthorpe, its just outside Alfreton on the way to Matlock, dead easy to get to from the M1 jn28 - I know quite a few car clubs who meet there if any use
If I like it, I lick it, if I dont I kick it.

I like Ashbourne, tad off the main roads though. Some guys will have traveled a while to want to run the extra down A roads. Maybe Burton? in between the A38/A50

http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=5 ... .5618|13|4

Bound to be a few watering holes around here.

Further East, theres a service sttion if my memmory serves me

http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=5 ... 27547|13|4

Further south on A38 theres the fradley arms on the A38 just North of Lichfield. Can find time to recon if I we can hgave a concensus on the general area.

Been a while since we had any input. Before we start looking for a site, do we have many peeps from that way we will be accomodating?
We know we have a fair few from Stoke, a couple from cannock way, Telford a couple then Wolvo and last Warrick.

Who have I missed? How about we make a register and then pick a spot closer to those who have had to travel for the last few.

I will start.

Looking at these, maybe something a couple of junctions down the M6, maybe carparks for the NEC? or perhaps A5 at Tamworth? A38 somewhere. Then the next meet could be Stafford services M6, I think we need some sort of concensus as wether we should move meets around the corners of the Midlands in rotation or stay central.

I for one am very happy to go anywhere.
