Another good meet with another record broken - 14 Fronteras.

Nice to meet some new faces (and some familiar ones)

It transpires that for the next Midlands meet, I will be organa P&P day (goodness knows how I got roped into that)

Coco' - please post and let us know you got home ok with that iffy clutch.

as you can see from the time 1.45am, Monday morning have just got home on the back of a truck again. only had 10miles left to get home. new clucth to be fitted then. more money.

anyway better go to bed have to be at work in northamton in 7.15am

hi alex,

yes was great fun getting home, well here is the good news, get reat for it.
when into vauxhall garage just to check the price of the clucth. it is going into them on wednesday to have a new clucth fitted total price inc VAT only £375.00 a bargin, had been quote another garage £250 plus parts, so well happy.
just a note the last clucth cost me £320 in parts allow.

Thats a blooming good price for a VX part fitted :shock:

Mine was "unbranded" and cost 290 fitted (took 7 hours)

i know , thats why i booked it in very very quickly, after a number of times checking with the service manager and the parts guy that that was the right price, £175.00 for the clucth and £200.00 to fit it and inc vat. and i say what happens if you have the wrong clucth will it cost me more money, he say no that is what we have quoted that is what you will pay.

Did it help not having the truck outside? Can see them looking twice around the yard after a Frontera when it comes to fitting :lol:
