Cheers Jay. Were putting up a tarpaulin for people to sit under or just stand and drink and on the grass area we will put up another one like last year for working under.

Hmm, did you just mention work there Bobby? scary...

Jobs to do list....

1. n/s u/j boot (not that important so long a I don't go swimming the thing or use the 4 wheel drive cos it's an 'A' series and only goes round when in 4 wheel drive).
2. Both lower ball joints, probably something I should do soon, getting a wee bit fed up of the squeaking now. Should do the boot at the same time, but that would be sensible.
3. Tappits, not been done for oh how many miles? gotta be headed to 50k so I guess I should do them sooner than later, not that you would notice the difference in clatter, it is a 2.8 after all
4. New spots for the front cos one fell off, it died well.....
5. New front & rear discs n pads, not needed yet but on the list all the same to do over the next 6 months.
6. Replace gearbox mount (apart from the stealers where can you get one, do milners sell them? ).

Got all the bits less the disks, pads, gearbox mount and spots. Think I will do the disks and ball joints at the same time as the u/j boot and it's probably not a good idea to do them 120 miles away from home either just in case something breaks so that just leaves the tappits and spots, oh and gearbox mount if I can find a good un between now and sat.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

Comments on 'O-no' the truck may be left here
