Well i have to bite the bullet and go down to the woods to see what it's all aboot so im just posting this to see if anyone else from up here wants to come and get ourselfs a convoy down to kent.Google maps reacon it's aboot 196 mile from mine in matlock to the woodsish give or take a few mile so if you fancy the last weekend before next year post your name on the convoy list and lets go :D

how do rob if i am going to get to the woods in sept have you a rough idea what time you will be setting off?? just so i can work out what time i would have to leve as i will probably be towing a trailer with a toy on it :D :D

Well if im right as i used to commute from matlock to gateshead for work it should take you about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get to mine or trowell services on the m1 and if you want to meet thier it shoul be about another 180 mile from thier down to the woods so i will just wait and come down in convoy from thier if you want so we are looking at another 3 ish hours driving or your quite welcome to come trough matlock for a tea/coffee stop on the way either way if you are going let me know and we can travel down togeather

Its gonna be a brill weekend...and will be great for the SE mob to meet you all and share mud, beer, grub and laughter around a huge campfire in a lovely woodland setting... :dance: :dance: :dance:

Might be able to work something out for the sunday night....but we will need to get most of the site cleared down late sunday afternoon when we have loads of helpers, so it would be just a campover with bonfire and bbq if we did it...
Will look into it as it could probably be done if a few wanted to go back monday morning, understand where you are coming from with regards to sunday being a bleedin long day starting with a hangover, then a days offroadin and then a several hour drive home... :wink:
