O dear Silverdale was a ong day for you,I hope you get fixed quick and pain free in your pockets, BUT I can't see that being the case. I did say to Bobby that with all the chating I forgot to ask if anyone wanted anything to eat, I hope you managed to pick something up on the way home, I'm not sure how many of the laybys you stopped in would have had food at that time of the evening. I am thinking about next Sunday and bringing Morgana as well as Bobby bringing Draco.
Love you, take care, see you soon, its always brill to see you all, its just a laugh all the time xxxx

 Well, it's been a great day thanks to great company and a great pit stop service from Bobby & Chrissy. Thanks for this, really appreciate it and hope you all got home safely.

On the contrary, its been a rather sad finish, as headgasket failed (after 2days) and I had to be towed back home once again, after just spending all the money to get it done   Garage promised to get it fixed - well, we shall see.

a BIG THANK YOU also to Rob, Audra & Daz for keeping me company until the AA turned up.

Photos will be downloaded tonight :!:

Looks like you had an eventful day! I came over and asked if you were okay during the "stuck" in the mud pit by the small clearing. I nearly got stuck there too. Worse was, my mate (with the winch) had also gotten stuck and I was driving around to the other side to tug him to safety! But I made it through with a few more rpm and in fact someone else did the tow so that particular incident was resolved. If it makes you feel better, I dented my car in exactly the same places as you did (was it the root sticking out at the side of the path up through another mud pit, off the main plateau?) and ironically, later that day went through the same area the other way round and dented the other side to match. And my friend unfortunately blew his water pump and head gasket on the way home too. I survived with only minor damage.
