Yeah i think its called the sherwin arms??? or there is the priory ( cracking carvery) at the next island on. Ill have a think and put any ideas forward. I suppose it depends on what people want to do.

I am a member of another forum, apart from the annual club meets members oraganise there own mini meets. These are getting quite popular, the mdland ones are usually held at either carsington water or chasewaters. They started out with 4 or 5 cars but now 20 is the norm.

Hi Guys

I know I repeat myself but thank again for all your feedback. All those suggestions should give us plenty of option for an eventful year  . I also located very nice pub called Old Moore Lodge, which is literarily 2min from Junction 26 of the M1, directly on the A6002 - see link attached:

http://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/restaurants/details/?id=3494

In fact the map is slightly out, as you actually drive pass it and then just turn left onto the Estate.

Anyway, I'd like to make a proposal, whilst we are all still very excited about it - What do you guys think about our 1st Get Together to be held at the above location on Saturday 30-01-2010, lets say 3 or 4pm in the afternoon :?:

This way, there is not rushing around on Friday after work, it also gives you time to sort out a few things on Saturday morning and you're back home for the evening and Sunday to rest and spend with your Families or Fronties

If this is ok for you, please put your name(s) down here:

Suppose whichever date we are going to choose, we won’t be able to accommodate everybody at all times. Having said this, it's a shame that you can't make it :( . Maybe you could swap with someone at work - just an idea.

With regards to what’s happening - something along those lines you mentioned. I'll have a chat with the guys from existing groups. First of all, it would be nice to get to know the more locally situated Fronty Fans, then I'm sure that there is lots to talk about and experiences to be exchanged, well and then there are probably a few ideas about upcoming events too.

Heyhey, it's going to happen  will try dropping some details to a few people I’ve seen lately with Fronties nearby. This way, we might get a few more people interested. If you should come across somebody let them know about FOG & our 1st East Midlands Meet :!:
