i have been in contact with the bloke from stainby
and have a thread going in offroad sites
asking if anyone wants to organise a weekend or day at this venue
the cost to hire the venue is 60 pounds per day
with free camping
and its 5 pounds per driver
i have recently been to the site with the notts lrc
what a venue with some really steep drops and some really deep water/mud runs there is also some more tame areas on this site for the less daring among us
there is also a truck trailer bridging a track so its under or through
for the more adventurus among us there is a bit of a challenging track called the pass OMG!!!!!!!!!!! what
we are talking a left hand camber to make the but cheeks clentch with a crayfish lake at the botom of the hill i dont recomend being a passanger on this one
so would anyone be interested in taking on the organising of a day/weekend please i have got to take my truck to see if i can get up the hills the landys were struggling on

Hi Guys,

Picking my very first Frontera up tomorrow, so I am interested if you get enourgh numbers to make it worthwhile.

As an ex Suzuki, Isuzu, Four Trak and Rangie owner, I'll be interested to see how it does. I mostly off road with people who have a bit of a grren oval bias  so will be nice to meet guys who aren't Discovery obsessed!

So far the 4 trak is my favourite ride. Reasonable economical, goes just about everywhere with the right tyres on.

I'll put some pictures up when I get it and no doubt will be scouring the forums for advice :D

Cheers

Keith

Hi Sugarbabe,

Yes, Derbyshire sounds like fun. I've done quite a bit of greenlaning up there, including Stanage (up and down), but not been to any pay and play sites.

Cheers

hello to all who have joined this thread and welcome
i think i will try to sort out a date in march some time ill contact the guy and see what dates he has free and post them in here its a big venue so the more the merryer if anyone has any preference as to which day/weekend they want to go let me no and ill try to book it for then other wise ill book us on for a saturday towards the end of march if i stump up the £60 quid and get us booked on as ive mentiond before it is 5 pounds per driver so dependant on how many turn up if we split the £60 quid between us then i aint going to be skint lol
