Weather watch, current temperature in Wrekin area -2,untreated surfaces are sheet ice, that was formed from the rain that washed away the snow :oh yer:
So now you are aware of the ice & temperature, went into silly mode & the Notherly view from my roof looks all festive..............

Summary......

Black ice is the danger here, snow over the hills from Wales to the Shrewsbury Plains, clearing as you go Eastwards

Back @ midday

Just had an inch of snow here in Kidsgrove on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border.

With more heavy snow predicted over the next 4 to 6 hours.

Main roads are reasonable clear, side roads and estates very dangerous.

The ironic thing is I may not be able to attend tonight NOT due to the weather, but work commitments and the fact of me been possibly the only Fast Food Takeaway driver in Staffordshire with a 4x4.

Just waiting for the phone call from work to call me in. Mind you I don't mind too much, all delivery charges are DOUBLED, plus my wages will be DOUBLED as well. £££££££££

 :drink:
