I know that to get to Oxford from here takes about an hour and a half, so you should be able to get here in that time easily M40 -> M42 -> M6 ... done Or if you are feeling flush and want to get here even quicker M40 -> M42 -> M6 Toll -> M6 ... it's so worth the £4.80

Cheers for that Jay. Just asked the money holder, and i'm approved to do the M6 Toll.
Just to let everyone know, i don't know the area that well, but will have the CB on ch 19 (unless anyone wants to use a different one), so if anyone else is going on those routes, give us a shout.
Thanks
For what it's worth it was worth all the while It's something unpredictable but in the end is right I hope you have the time of your life

I would suggest using channel 8 (UK) - the Fog channel - and I will be on and listening.
I would also suggest that to ensure we have enough time for a good breakfast before, then a meeting time of 07:30 would be appropriate for Keele Services for brekkie - We'll meet on the Northbound services (we should be able to get across the service road when we head to the next meeting point).
For those not partaking in breakfast, then we'll meet just down the road from the site, as it will be easier to find. Come off the M6 at Jct 15. You can only head one way (towards Stoke and the A500). Just after you get off the Motorway, there is a roundabout. Take the first exit and head up the hill slightly. On the left is the Holiday Inn, and opposite that there is a layby. We'll meet there (in the layby, not the hotel!) between 9 and 9.30am, ready to head down to the site.
If any want, PM me and i'll give you my mobile number in case there are any problems.

Hi Jon I don't think the next exit is that far away to be honest with you and it has a roundabout I would say its under 4 miles

You can drive down to 15 and turn round (only a couple of miles as Roo said), or nip across the service road
