MIDLANDS MONTHLY MEET - NOVEMBER 2007

Postby FUDDY MUCKER on Sun Oct 28, 2007 8:02 pm

After another successful Meet at Keele, it's time to start arrangements for the next one.

As agreed, this time we will be moving down to the South of the region, to give the more Southern Midland members a day on there own turf.

So, this month, I think it's only fair to let a Southerner pick the Venue.

I await suggestions. (as it gets darker and colder, a public house, just after dinner, with a big car park sounds a good idea. )

I must say the Spread eagle was a good spot, maybe Hilton park M6, first meets were M5 toysrus carpark. 3 options to throw out to the masses.

Maybe a sugestion to alternate between this next one and Keel, maybe pull some members from the Northern meets down to us and make them multinational
Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"

Good suggestion mate. I liked the Spread Eagle, it's easy accessible, Large Car Park, Good Facilities. And Keele seems to have worked out quite well today. Also the M5 McDonalds meet is easily accessable.

We'll give it a few more suggestions before we decide between us all.

As we have been to the north of our area I think it would be fair to go south for the next one. That would even up the fuel bills a bit with those from Kidderminster/Worcester area.If this is agreeable would Bikerbarney like to propose the venue ??

I too was thinking that perhaps we should have a look over to the east of Birmingham.

As ive had a pretty poor reponse to this so far on the main events forum we could incorporate this into the november meet.

Image

For those that havent heard of this site, it is just north of Stratford upon avon. It is not far from the legendary great alne ford and close to a number of good pubs.

Good suggestion.

Lets run it past the members.

Do you fancy a day out off roading.............

Or

A Car park and pub day.........

The choice is your folks. Lets be quick on this one, to give everyone plenty of time.

Actually, the Aston Cantlow site as advertised above could be a vialble option, as there are a couple of open flat fields that would accomodate a meet and of course the mud aspect for those wanting a bit of a play.

£20 does not sound too bad either, although the P&P site is very mild compared to Farley.
